Living with baby eczema can be traumatic for families. Words cannot express how powerless parents can feel when their precious baby is in distress at the itch and scratch that baby eczema brings.
We just love to hear how Hope’s Relief Eczema Cream is helping mums and bubs around the world. Our hearts are touched by the story of little Miss Rose, all of two years old and her brave battle with eczema.
We stumbled across Rose’s story below on Mr and Mrs T Plus Three, a parenting blog collating mummy advice, shared by her lovely mummy Amy Treasure.
Little Rose and her brave battle with eczema
The apple of everyone’s eye, oh so very sweet and a ball of pure mischief, two- year old Rose got a really bad virus just before Christmas. It was around this time that she started to develop some skin problems, a patch of eczema on her cheek and on her poor little feet. They suddenly became chapped and were so red sore and dry they were cracked.
Mum Amy took her on numerous trips to the doctor and tried various lotions and potions but all to no avail. Rose was really uncomfortable and her Mum was at here wit’s end, unsure of what to do or what the best course of action was to take. By sheer coincidence Amy got chatting by email to medical herbalist Lindsey Miller. Lindsey is the commercial director of Hope’s Relief’s UK distributor, Mahi Naturals.
Amy said “Lindsey was so kind and informative when I explained to her the problems that Rose had been having with her skin and really tried to help me get to the bottom of her issues.
“I really am so grateful for the time that she spent helping and listening to me. She advised us to try an award-winning Intensive Dry Skin Cream (sold as Hope’s Relief Premium Eczema Cream within Australia) and a Goat’s Milk Body Wash, both made by Hope’s Relief, a natural skin care and scalp care range produced in Australia.
“The body wash smells incredible, and is very moisturising with lovely skin nourishing ingredients. Only a very small amount is needed on a sponge to wash the whole body, as you can see from the photograph we’ve been using this three weeks now and still have loads left.
“Lindsey had already told me that it was important not to over-wash eczema, as this can exacerbate the symptoms. Armed with this knowledge I gave Rose a gentle wash daily and afterwards applied the Intensive Dry Skin Cream. It rubbed into Rose’s skin easily and didn’t leave any sticky greasy residue. It immediately soothed her cracked bleeding skin.
“I don’t think they could have chosen a better branding for these products, the best way to describe the after affects is that they relieve symptoms so Hope’s Relief is a brilliantly descriptive brand name.
“I’m happy to report that the patch of eczema on Rose’s face has completely disappeared after three weeks use. Her feet are no longer cracked. You can see from the picture below that they are almost completely smooth again. I can’t tell you how delighted I am with the results and wholeheartedly recommend Hope’s Relief!” said Amy, mother of Rose and editor of parenting blog Mr and Mrs T Plus Three.
